The Planter’s Punch cocktail recipe
entertainment  home | admin
The Planter’s punch was created in the 19th century by Jamaican plantation owner to break the summer heat. As a popular and very refreshing drink, there are lots of different recipes. However, most agree that your Planter’s Punch should be made with an old rum from Jamaica. To me, this is a fun drink; obviously, the rum will be the key flavor in this drink.
Here is the Planter’s Punch cocktail recipe:
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz.) Appleton Estate Amber Rum
1 1 /2 oz of orange juice
1 soup spoon of fresh lemon juice
2 dashes Angostura bitters
2 dashes Grenadine
1 tea spoon of sugar
Ice cubes
Orange slice and Cherry
Preparation
Combine all the above ingrédients into a shaker filled with ice cubes. Stir it using a mixing spoon and strain into a collins glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with orange slices and cherry to top of the presentation. Don’t forget to drink responsibly…
