The sweet flavors of rose and ginger will tempt you. And it may be impossible to resist. One of the favorite destinations of John Galliano, the English designer who now lives in Paris, is the legendary Ladurée patisserie: since 1860, it’s been the veritable shrine to the colored, delicate, melt-in-your-mouth called les macarons.

To celebrate this passion, the creative director of Dior will collaborate with Ladurée on a special flavor - rose and ginger - that’s been inspired by the notes of his latest perfume, “Parlez Moi d’amour“.

With this pastry, the designer celebrates his romantic nature with les macarons de Ladurée. Packaged in a very special box covered in stationary and signed by John Galliano himself, les macarons come in boxes of 6, 12 or 18. The limited edition macaron box will go on sale in November in Ladurée stores in France, the UK, Switzerland, Monte Carlo, Ireland, Italy and Japan.

This isn’t Ladurée first co-venture with fashion. In 2009, the french patisserie launched two other special versions of les macarons, one by the french shoe designer Christian Louboutin and one by the Italian label Marni.
