Join the third annual New York Culinary Experience, the only hands-on event of its kind, offering food lovers of all skill levels the chance to cook hands-on and up-close with some of the world’s most renowned chefs.
Sign up for two days of intimate hands-on classes with acclaimed chefs, restaurateurs, and industry insiders. You’ll learn professional techniques and creative approaches to recipes, prepare-then enjoy-dishes under the direction of these industry giants, attend question-and-answer sessions, wine tastings, and, at the close of each day, a private cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception.
This year’s participating chefs include Daniel Boulud of Daniel and the Dinex Restaurant Group; Alexandra Guarnaschelli, Butter; George Mendes, Aldea; Marco Canora, Hearth; Laurent Tourondel of BLT Restaurants; Shaun Hergatt, SHO; André Soltner, formerly of Lutece and current Dean at The French Culinary Institute; Paul Liebrandt of Corton; Gina DePalma of Babbo; Cesare Casella of Salumeria Rosi and Dean of The Italian Culinary Academy; “Iron Chef” winner Morimoto; master chocolatier Jacques Torres, also Dean of Pastry at The French Culinary Institute; and Alain Sailhac, Executive Vice President and Dean Emeritus of The French Culinary Institute.
Proceeds from the New York Culinary Experience will support the Future Chefs Scholarship, a program offering scholarships for aspiring chefs so they may attend The FCI. Last year’s event was sold out. To maintain small, intimate class sizes, ticket availability is extremely limited.
