High-end raincoats and accessories maker London Fog, unveiled their Fall 2010 ad campaign featuring gorgeous “Mad Men” character Christina Hendricks. The campaign, shot by Nino Munoz, sees Christina Hendricks follow the stylish footsteps of A-list celebrities Gisele Bundchen and Eva Longoria as the face of the label.
Shot in black and white, Christina Hendricks the epitome of a beautiful woman (according to me) resembles a Hitchcock heroine in London Fog’s signature belted trench coats, which are belted at the waist, highlighting her famous voluptuous curves. “London Fog is a classic brand, which I love. It also ties into Mad Men, we used London Fog in the show and this was a nice way to tie everything together,” the Emmy-nominated actress says of the outerwear label.
This campaign is perfect in everything: perfect lighting, colors, make-up and of course outfits. Christina Hendricks poses seductively and does it with class! We absolutely love her…
London Fog, which was founded in 1923 as the Londontown clothing company by Israel Myers, made waterproof clothing for the U.S. Navy during World War II. The brand became a favorite with U.S. shoppers for its raincoats in the Fifties, which were the first to have a patented removable liner, and by the Seventies, two-thirds of all raincoats sold in the U.S. were London Fog. ” The trench is such an iconic shape for men and women. It works for anyone — it worked in the 1960s and it works now” added the actress.
