It’s that time of the year again for gourmet and food lover in New York City. Originally a onetime dining promotion coinciding with the 1992 Democratic National Convention, NYC Restaurant Week has become one of the largest dining events in the U.S with more than 275 participating restaurants across NYC culinary scene (French, American, Italian, Seafood, Japanese, Chinese, Steakhouse, Fusion, Cuban, Greek, etc).

Twice a year in Jan/Feb for the winter edition and in June/July for the summer, New York City’s finest restaurants give you an opportunity to sample some of their best meals at a high discount. For only $35 and under, you will be served a three-course dinner menu at prix fixe (lunch menu is set to be at $24,07), allowing you to dine for less at some of NYC’s most expensive and fine dining restaurants. Some of these restaurants include: Adour Alain Ducasse at the St Regis Hotel, Bar Boulud, Blue Water Grill, Bistro Milano, Cipriani Dolci, Estiatorio Milos, Gotham Bar & Grill, Le Caprice, Le Cique, Nobu and many more.

The NYC Restaurant Week Summer Edition will run from July 12th to 25th 2010 (an extended two week run by popular demand). Certain conditions apply: Saturdays are excluded, Sunday participation is optional and beverages, gratuities and taxes are not included in the price.

We wish you and your other half a very pleasant meal during NYC Restaurant Week. If you’d like to visit New York City during this period, let us help you plan your amazing stay and travel package.
