Dom Pérignon, one of the world’s exceptional champagne made by the French House of Champagne Moët & Chandon, has launched its first ever Oenothèque Rosé.

The regular Dom Pérignon Rosé is made from high quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes that mature for couple of years to achieve that seductive sophistication in taste and coppery pink color. However, the new Dom Pérignon Œnothèque Rosé appears to be very different. As we’ve heard, the legendary 1990 vintage Œnothèque Rosé will be the first mature vintage rose released by Dom Pérignon, and will sit alongside the current vintage Œnothèque, as well as the Dom Pérignon vintage and vintage Rosé. The exact same blend as 1990 Dom Pérignon Rosé, the Œnothèque has spent ten more years on its lees (disgorgement 2007) to create a more exquisite taste.

“I am fully confident that the 1990 Dom Pérignon Rosé Œnothèque is now ready in all its singularity”said Richard Geoffroy, Chef de Cave at Dom Pérignon on its website.

A limited quantity of this rare vintage is now being released as Dom Pérignon Œnothèque Rosé and will be sold in certain high-end wines and champagnes stores. The bottle comes presented in a Dom Pérignon Œnothèque Rosé branded box.
