Last year, we reported on the Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic welcoming HRH Prince Henry of Wales commonly known as Prince Harry during his first-ever visit to the USA for their annual Polo edition, which took place in New York City on May 30th 2009. A fashionably crowd of VIP and celebrities such as Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, Marc Jacobs, Madonna, Donna Karan, Kate Hudson, LL COOL J and more came to support the charity polo match benefiting American Friends of Sentebale, a US-based charity that supports at-risk children in Lesotho, Africa.

This year once again, the French Champagne house is returning on Governor’s Island for a polo match that many will sure remember: gourmet picnic lunch, unlimited Veuve Clicquot champagne, Ralph Lauren model and Black Watch player Nacho Figueras, and of course a great cause.
