home  lifestyle | admin
It’s hard to imagine a car show without exotic/supercars; and this time again the 2010 Geneva Motor Show never disappoints. The 80th edition of the Geneva Motor Show - one of the most important car show in the world - which is currently underway from March 4th to 14th 2010, has brought some of the best supercars in the world all in one roof: Lamborghini, Bugatti Veyron, Lotus, Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche and more…
Our friends at Luxist helped us reviewed four of the best supercars at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show: The Koenigsegg Agera, the experimental Ferrari 599 Hy-ker hybrid vehicle, the Pagani Zonda Tricolore and the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera. Enjoy a quick description below:

The Koenigsegg Agera 2010 Geneva Motor Show
Koenigsegg (a Swedish super sports car manufacturers) celebrate 15 years of making dream cars, by unleashing their latest jewel - the Koenigsegg Agera. The Agera is an update version of the Koenigsegg CCX that debuted in at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. The Agera is a fierce car with all the power you need thanks to optimized breathing and more boost pressure from the engine’s forced induction system. The 4.7-liter V8 engine built entirely in-house ditches the twin superchargers of the CCX in favor of twin turbos, delivering a whopping 910 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque. In other words, the car is going to achieve 60mph in a mere 3.1 seconds en route to a top speed of over 245 mph. That’s enough power to surpass your neighbor’s cars…
The Ferrari 599 Hy-kers at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show
The Ferrari 599 HY-KERS hybrid vehicle concept based on the Ferrari 599 Fiorano, is a great example of how to produce green supercars without sacrificing their performance and driving personality. The Italian luxury car manufacturer is going green for the environment and we love it. Ferrari worked diligently to balance the performance cost-benefit ratio of the electric drive system, replacing the starter motor and battery with a 40kg, 100hp battery and electric motor, mounted below the car’s center of gravity and fully integrated into the aerodynamic undertray. Strictly a concept for the time bring, we hope to see this car into production very soon.
Pagani Zonda Tricolore at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show
Pagani Zonda, the Italian supercar maker has released a very special edition the Pagani Zonda Tricolore on the occasion of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the “Frecce Tricolori”, as a tribute to Italy’s National Aerobatic Team. This is definitely one of my favorite supercars with incredible power (670 horsepower and 780 pound-feet of torque). Priced at €1.3 million (US$1.76 million), the Zonda Tricolore is one of the most expensive car on earth. Imagine yourself behind the wheel of this beast!!it’s priceless…
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show
The LP570-4 Superleggera is the ultimate version of the Lamborghini Gallardo to date. It follows in the tracks of the previous 2007 Superleggera and the more recent rear-drive Valentino Balboni edition, but packs a 561-horsepower 5.2-liter V10 engine into a package that weighs less than a Porsche Boxster at under 3000 lbs. The Superleggera accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3,4 seconds and to 100 mph in 10.2 seconds. The top speed of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera is rated at around 202 mph. Pretty sweet for another beast! We’ve heard price and availability will be announced at a later date. Pretty sweet for another beast!
