Leica, a German camera and optics manufacturer and French high-fashion house Hermès have decided to collaborate on another very limited edition camera; this time it’s on the iconic M7 camera. This is the second time both Leica and Hermès have come together.

This very special limited edition of the luxury M7 35mm camera comes in two distinct colors: One “etoupe”, which is more like dark green/brown color and the other one is orange like Hermès signature color. Both colors have silver chrome with calfskin leather accents which is a slight difference compared to the original Leica M7. Actually, there aren’t too many changes from the original M7, just a few tweaks here and there: the red logo is now black; control elements are manufactured in metal, the red color of the engraved AUTO and flash settings on the shutter speed dial has been replaced by the specific shade of the camera’s leather. Let’s not forget the matching leather strap! For the technical amongst you, the Leica M7 Hermès limited edition camera is equipped with a matching carrying case, a specially crafted, silver anodized Leica Summilux-M 34 mm f/1.4 ASPH, wide-angle lens, and lens hood with a Leicavit M rapid film winder.

Leica M7 Hermès edition is absolutely gorgeous and it’s pretty much the best-looking and most-expensive camera I’ve ever seen! It will cost you 9,500€ or almost $14,400, but it’s worth it! There will only be 200 of this limited edition Leica M7 Hermès produced, in which 100 will be in brown and 100 in orange. Each camera will feature a special sequential serial number between 001/200 to 200/200.

The Leica M7 Hermès limited edition luxury camera will be available in December for the Christmas holidays; this is a perfect holiday gift if you love photography and luxury gadgets.
