BlackBerry has announced today its latest flagship device, the new bold 9700 also called ONYX.
Everything about this blackberry smartphone is refined, and the device has a lot of cool and improved features we like. The 9700 comes with a hi-resolution 480 x320 screen that displays over 65,000 colors. It is smaller than its predecessor, therefore, no more bulkiness that came with the first generation Bold. The folks at RIM have added an optical trackpad for better navigation, that’s right there is no more annoying trackball.
The phone has a styling shape with beveled edges similar to the curve (we love). Powder coated keyboad, and a leather back cover. They have also improved the camera with a 3.2 megapixel, auto focus, image stabilization. The battery life is longer, the talk time up to 6hrs and 21 days in standby mode.
For some of us frequent travelers, depending on the carrier, this blackberry will allow you to place and receive calls over Wi-Fi connection and it is 3G of course.

All in all it is a very sweet device we have here form BlackBerry. Of course it comes with the new OS and BBM 5.0 so you can continue to pin your close friends all over the world. Have a look at the video below.
