The Estée Lauder Private Collection “Jasmine White Moss” parfum is the third fragrance in Aerin Lauder’s Private Collection in honour of her late grandmother, Estée Lauder. The fragrance is based on the unfinished formula that Estée Lauder herself had been working on in the 1980s: radiant green and white floral freshness in a passionate yet elegant blend of modern and classic ingredients…the shared creation of both Aerin and Estée Lauder.
“Jasmine White Moss” from the Estee Lauder Private Collection has a soft, airy and open scent. The top notes start with bright citrus and galbanum, a combination of stem and fruit which gives a sparkling fresh effect. Indeed, once the fragrance dries down the clean oakmoss, what you have left is a subtle and soft green floral chypre scent. I love the opening notes, very jasmine-y effect at first; I find this quality extremely enticing, however, as the day passes by, you will definitely fall in love with the mixed floral affair: mandarin, black current bud absolute, galbanum, bergamot, jasmine sambac absolute, jasmine India absolute, violet, orange flower absolute, orris, ylang-ylang, patchouli, vetiver and white moss mist.
The sleek bottle features a cap embedded with natural semi-precious gems including White Jade, dark and light Lapis, Sodalite, Black Agate, Mother of Pearl and Blue Lace Agate stones. The stones selected for each cap are different, making each cap unique.
Estée Lauder Private Collection Jasmine White Moss is available in 30 ml Parfum, jeweled cap as shown above for $325. The collection also includes a 30ml and 75ml Eau de Parfum Spray, a body creme and a limited edition solid perfume pendant. Jasmine White Moss will be available at specialty doors Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom and Bergdorf Goodman beginning July 2009.
This is a very luxurious but delicate fragrance; I highly recommend it to you.
