Champagne, Champagne, Champagne; who doesn’t like Champagne? I’m sure most of you will answer yes with a smile! And, if by any chance you’re not into the bubbles don’t worry; you will still be pleased at Flûte Bar & Lounge.

With two locations in Manhattan New York and a newly opened in Paris, France, Flûte is the brainchild of Frenchman Hervé Rousseau. The concept was simple: to offer a real champagne experience in an upscale but comfortable setting. The original Flûte bar, Flûte Midtown, was created in a space on West 54th Street NYC that was once home to the Prohibition-era speakeasy, Club Intime. A few years later, Flûte Gramercy extended the champagne experience in New York. However, it would not be complete without a Flûte bar in the city of lights. Located on a charming side street, just steps away from L’Arc de Triomphe, Flûte L’Etoile in Paris is the latest addition to the collection of owner Hervé Rousseau.

Each Flûte bar is very unique in its genre; illuminated by the sultry flicker of the candlelight, guests can enjoy a very intimate and cozy ambiance: lounge couches, velvet banquettes, engaging but non-intrusive music and curtained niches where couples can hide away- hide away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The menu boasts a carefully selected list of over 100 champagnes and sparkling wines available by the bottle and 15 by the glass. You can pair your champagne with chocolate, foie gras, smoked salmon, or caviar from Petrossian Paris. Believe me, it’s just a delight and you will be speaking French like me after; oh la la c’est bon la vie! True connoisseurs will be happy to appreciate some rare and exceptional vintages offered at Flûte bar: Magnums of Krug 1979 and 1996 Krug Clos du Mesnil. Let’s not forget the full wine, beer, and liquor bar, featuring creative sparkling cocktails. Be sure to ask owner and wine director Hervé Rousseau for its favorites.
