The new 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series is a pure beast. The extraordinary engine specifications, which make the SL 65 AMG Black Series one of the world’s most powerful and highest-torque series-produced roasters, feature a 6.0-liter bi-turbo, V12 engine making 670-hp with a maximum torque of 738 lb-ft. From a standing start, it only takes just 3.9 seconds for the SL 65 AMG Black Series to reach 100 km/h or 11.0 seconds to reach 200 km/h. The top speed is 320 km/h (of course electronically limited for the fast drivers). As you can imagine from Mercedes-Benz, high quality has not been spared anywhere on the SL 65 AMG Black Series: from dark-tinted Bi-xenon front headlamps to an AMG spoiler lip that provides greater down force, helping the driver hug the road while accelerating.
